Red Death-Phantom of the Opera

So, may i present: My first oil painting!

I'm a great Phantom of the Opera-Musical Fan and the character of the Red Death always fascinated me. When the Phantom first appeared on the big staircase during the masquerade ball at the beginning of the second act of the musical, i was so impressed!! Unfortunatelly there are only few good picutres of this fantastic costume.... Until i found a flyer/leaflet of the London production. "The Phantom of the Opera - The most haunting musical" (or something similar ^^° I was soo happy when i saw this advertisment And so true!! ^^ Well, the music of ALW has haunted me down for 8 years now

I love the Red Death which is why i chose him for my first attempt with oils
