Here I turned one of my favourite photos from the Hamburg production of the Phantom of the Opera with Colby Thomas as Christine/Amnita into my newest drawing.

I just loooooove Colby's smile, position and the atmosphere of the picture itself. However after about 10hours work, I spilt tea over the top of the picture which is why i never continued drawig - till last month. After weeks and months full of kind words from a good friend of mine, she persuaded me to get back to this picture :)

After Amnita was finished, i still was very irritaded because of the tea stain, which is another reason why i chose to include The Phantom himself in this picture in order to hide the stain.
Unfortunatelly I had no picture to get to know how all that black material could look whilst moving... so i had to think everything up and had to trust my imagination........ I think the velvet's ok although i'm not completely satisfied.. and I don't thinks his hands look human but hope you like it anyway :)

Colby Thomas and Ian Jon Bourg were that breathtakingly amazing together on stage that i still get goosebumps just thinking of the two together in this scene.:heart::heart:
I hope that i somehow managed to capture at least a tiiiiiny little of these phenomenal emotions of the Phantom and his true love Christine performing together "Don Juan Triumphant"...

I would be very happy about some comments.

THANK YOU very much!

Love

THAT'S the famous drawing with the tea spilled over??? I hardly recognize it! :wow: You're absolutely crazy!!! :eyepopping: And that's a compliment <- just to make sure you understand my meaning.
I'm astonished, that's all I can say! Christine's dress is incredible - how you managed to work out the details is amazing, allthough I shouldn't be surprised, because you always seem to pay special attention to details. But this time you surpass yourself .
Don't you dare criticising his hands! They're perfect!!! His cloak looks pretty good, too. Maybe a bit too...äh..regular.
Alltogether the work you put in this drawing speaks for itself! :worship:

I hope there's more to come in future!!! :please:

Gorgeous!! I love Ian Jon Bourg. :X His voice is incredible.

Lovely drawing. This is my favorite scene in the play. The passion between the two is incredible and you've captured it beautifully here ^_^

even on the tiny thumbnail picture, it looks amazing!
this is a gorgeous drawing, the tea stain is so barely visible, that i didn't even notice it until i read your comments and went back to have a better look at the picture...don't worry about it...
you did a great job!

What a delight this is! All this inventing, this producing, takes place in a pleasing, lively dream.

The internet is a wonderful thing to find Phantom in foreign languages. German is incredible. Ian's Music of the Night is.... astounding. *nods*

Again, lovely picture. Keep up the fantastic work!
